Exodus Mobile Wallet Recovery

Exodus Mobile Wallet Recovery – How to Prepare Your Files

Lost your Exodus Mobile wallet password? We specialize in secure, offline recovery of encrypted Exodus mobile wallet files. Follow the steps below to prepare your files and request a free, no-obligation assessment.

What We Need

  • Your Exodus Mobile wallet files (encrypted data directory from your phone).
  • Password hints (see checklist below).
  • (Optional) The mobile OS and app version you last used (iOS/Android, app version).

We do not need your 12-word seed phrase or private keys for password recovery.

Where to Find Your Wallet Files

Important: You will need to back up the app data from your phone. The exact path differs by platform:

Android
Files are stored inside the Exodus app data:
/data/data/exodusmovement.exodus/
Typical encrypted wallet files: wallet.exodus, plus supporting JSON/config files.

Note: Accessing /data/data/ requires root access or a full phone backup (ADB). If you cannot do this, we can guide you.

iOS
Wallet files are stored inside the Exodus app sandbox.
These can only be extracted using an encrypted iTunes/iCloud backup and a backup extractor tool (we provide guidance).

Tip: Always include the full folder structure, not just a single file.

How to Prepare & Send Files (Secure)

  1. Back up your Exodus Mobile wallet files (via ADB on Android or iTunes/iCloud on iOS).
  2. Extract the encrypted data folder (we can guide you if unsure).
  3. Compress the folder into .zip or .7z and set a temporary password for the archive.
  4. Submit the inquiry on our inquiry page. We will reply with a one-time, secure upload link for your encrypted archive. Please do not email files.
  5. Provide as many password hints as possible (see checklist below). The better the hints, the higher the chance of recovery. With good hints, we can also estimate the time required and give you a realistic outlook.

Offline only: All recovery attempts are performed on isolated systems. We start with an independent assessment—no commitment required.

Password Hints Guide (What Helps Most)

  • Length (exact or range): e.g., “8–10 characters”, “exactly 12”.
  • Character sets used: lowercase/UPPERCASE, digits, symbols (which ones?).
  • Patterns: Capitalized word + 2 digits, ends with 88, starts with initials, word+year, etc.
  • Words you reuse: names, nicknames, brands, pets, places.
  • Dates or numbers: birthdays, anniversaries, memorable years; format used (DDMMYYYY, YYYY, etc.).
  • Typical endings: !, !!, 123, 2020, etc.
  • Language/keyboard: non-English letters, specific layouts (QWERTZ/QWERTY), frequently used symbols.

Even small details help us narrow the keyspace dramatically—saving time and improving your success odds.

Independent Assessment: Please consider this as an independent assessment of your recovery problem. Submitting your case does not commit you to any service or payment.

Privacy: Your files are handled confidentially and are not shared with third parties. We only use them to evaluate your recovery request.

Exodus Mobile Recovery — Frequently Asked Questions

Which files do you need?

The encrypted wallet data folder from the Exodus Mobile app. On Android this is inside /data/data/exodusmovement.exodus/. On iOS it is extracted via an iTunes/iCloud backup.

Do you need my 12-word seed?

No. We only need the encrypted wallet files and your password hints. Never share your seed phrase or private keys.

Do I need to root or jailbreak my phone?

Not always. On Android, root access or ADB backup may be required. On iOS, an encrypted iTunes/iCloud backup is sufficient without jailbreaking.

Is recovery guaranteed?

No. Success depends on password complexity and the quality of hints. We start with a free, offline assessment and then advise realistic next steps.
