Trust Wallet (Mobile) Recovery – How to Prepare Your Files
Locked out of Trust Wallet? We perform secure, offline assessments of Trust Wallet mobile data (Android/iOS) to determine if password/PIN recovery is feasible. Follow the steps below to prepare your files and request a free, no-obligation assessment.
Important Notes About Trust Wallet
- Trust Wallet is a seed-phrase first wallet. Funds are derived from the 12/24-word recovery phrase.
- The app lock (PIN/biometric) protects local access; keys are commonly secured in the device’s KeyStore/Keychain. This can make recovery device-dependent.
- If the app was deleted or the phone was factory reset and you don’t have a prior backup, recovery is usually not possible without the seed phrase.
- If you still have the phone (or a full, encrypted device backup made before losing access), an offline assessment may be possible.
What We Need
- Your Trust Wallet app data (extracted from the phone or from an encrypted device backup).
- Password/PIN hints (see checklist below).
- (Optional) Phone model, Android/iOS version, and approximate Trust Wallet version/year used.
We do not need your recovery phrase or private keys for an assessment. Never share your seed phrase.
Where to Find Wallet Data – Android
Trust Wallet stores encrypted data in the app sandbox (/data/data/
). Package names vary by version, commonly similar to com.wallet.crypto.trustapp
.
- Option 1: Create a full device backup (ADB; availability depends on Android version/vendor).
- Option 2: With root/custom recovery, copy the app directory under
/data/data/
.
Can’t extract it? Submit an inquiry; we’ll guide you based on your device and Android version.
Where to Find Wallet Data – iOS
Extract the Trust Wallet app container via an encrypted iTunes (Finder) or iCloud backup using a backup extractor tool. No jailbreak is required.
Tip: Always include the entire extracted folder structure (not just single files) to preserve metadata.
How to Prepare & Send Files (Secure)
- Back up your device/app data (Android via ADB or root; iOS via encrypted iTunes/iCloud backup).
- Extract the Trust Wallet app data folder (we can guide you step-by-step).
- Compress the folder into
.zip
or.7z
and set a temporary password for the archive. - Submit the inquiry on our inquiry page. We will reply with a one-time, secure upload link for your encrypted archive. Please do not email files.
- Provide as many PIN/password hints as possible (see checklist below). Better hints = higher success rate. Good hints also help us estimate cracking time and feasibility.
Offline only: All assessments and recovery attempts run on isolated systems. We start with an independent assessment—no commitment required.
Password/PIN Hints Guide (What Helps Most)
- Length (exact/range): e.g., 4-digit PIN; 6-digit; 8–12 chars, etc.
- Character sets used: digits only / letters+digits / symbols (which?).
- Patterns: Word+year, capitalized word + 2 digits, ends with
88
, repeated digits, etc. - Words you reuse: names, nicknames, brands, pets, places.
- Dates/numbers: birthdays, anniversaries; format used (
DDMM
,YYYY
, etc.). - Typical endings:
!
,!!
,123
,2020
, etc. - Language/keyboard: non-English letters, QWERTZ/QWERTY, frequently used symbols.
Even small details help us narrow the keyspace—saving time and improving success odds.
Independent Assessment: Please consider this as an independent assessment of your recovery problem. Submitting your case does not commit you to any service or payment.
Privacy: Your files are handled confidentially and are not shared with third parties. We only use them to evaluate your recovery request.
Trust Wallet Recovery — Frequently Asked Questions
Can you recover my wallet without the seed phrase?
Sometimes. If you still have the device or a prior encrypted backup that contains the Trust Wallet data and device keys are accessible, an offline assessment may be possible. If the app was deleted or the phone was factory reset with no backup, recovery is usually not possible without the seed phrase.
Do you need my seed phrase?
No. For assessment we do not need your seed or private keys. Never share your seed phrase with anyone.
Do I need to root or jailbreak?
Android: an ADB full backup may work on some versions; otherwise root/custom recovery is needed to access /data/data/
. iOS: use an encrypted iTunes/Finder or iCloud backup—no jailbreak required.
Is recovery guaranteed?
No. Success depends on device security, OS version, app version, and password complexity. We start with a free offline assessment and then advise realistic next steps.
