Important Notes About Trust Wallet
- Trust Wallet is a seed-phrase first wallet. Funds are derived from the 12/24-word recovery phrase.
- The app lock (PIN/biometric) protects local access; keys are commonly secured in the device’s KeyStore/Keychain. This can make recovery device-dependent.
- If the app was deleted or the phone was factory reset and you don’t have a prior backup, recovery is usually not possible without the seed phrase.
- If you still have the phone (or a full, encrypted device backup made before losing access), an offline assessment may be possible.

Where to Find Wallet Data – Android
Trust Wallet stores encrypted data in the app sandbox (/data/data/). Package names vary by version, commonly similar to com.wallet.crypto.trustapp.
- Option 1: Create a full device backup (ADB; availability depends on Android version/vendor).
- Option 2: With root/custom recovery, copy the app directory under
/data/data/.

Where to Find Wallet Data – iOS
Extract the Trust Wallet app container via an encrypted iTunes (Finder) or iCloud backup using a backup extractor tool. No jailbreak is required.
Tip: Always include the entire extracted folder structure (not just single files) to preserve metadata.
How to Prepare & Send Files (Secure)
- Back up your device/app data (Android via ADB or root; iOS via encrypted iTunes/iCloud backup).
- Extract the Trust Wallet app data folder (we can guide you step-by-step).
- Compress the folder into
.zipor.7zand set a temporary password for the archive. - Submit the inquiry on our inquiry page. We will reply with a one-time, secure upload link for your encrypted archive. Please do not email files.
- Provide as many PIN/password hints as possible (see checklist below). Better hints = higher success rate. Good hints also help us estimate cracking time and feasibility.

Password/PIN Hints Guide (What Helps Most)
- Length (exact/range): e.g., 4-digit PIN; 6-digit; 8–12 chars, etc.
- Character sets used: digits only / letters+digits / symbols (which?).
- Patterns: Word+year, capitalized word + 2 digits, ends with
88, repeated digits, etc. - Words you reuse: names, nicknames, brands, pets, places.
- Dates/numbers: birthdays, anniversaries; format used (
DDMM,YYYY, etc.). - Typical endings:
!,!!,123,2020, etc. - Language/keyboard: non-English letters, QWERTZ/QWERTY, frequently used symbols.
